Continuing its mission to extend care and compassion to communities in need, the Motortrade Life and Livelihood Assistance Foundation (MLALAF), in partnership with Motortrade Daet, distributed 100 food packs to families in Barangay San Roque who were affected by the recent Typhoon Uwan.
The relief distribution benefited 100 families, providing them with essential goods and basic food items to support their recovery during this challenging time.
This initiative follows the Foundationโs ongoing relief efforts across Daet and neighboring areas, reaffirming Motortradeโs deep commitment to community service and bayanihan.

In the spirit of Alagang Motortrade, the Motortrade Life and Livelihood Assistance Foundation, together with Motortrade Daetย and our dedicated community partners, reached out to families affected by Typhoon Uwanย through a relief distribution activity held today in Daet, Camarines Norte.
A total of 400 familiesย from various barangays โ Purok Uno, Pamurangon, Magang, Mantagbak, Pasig, San Isidro, Dupax, and Camambuganย received food packs and essential goods to help them recover from the recent typhoonโs impact.
This initiative is part of Motortrade Foundationโs continuous commitment to extend help and hope to Filipino communities in times of crisis. The relief operations were made possible through the collective efforts of Motortrade employees, volunteers, and local partners who worked hand in hand to ensure assistance reached those most affected.
โAt Motortrade, we believe that our responsibility goes beyond motorcycles. Itโs about being there for our fellow Filipinos, especially in their most difficult times,โ said a representative from Motortrade Life and Livelihood Assistance Foundation.

Motortrade Life and Livelihood Assistance Foundation, Inc (Motortrade LALAF) recently turned-over Php2.4M worth of hospital equipment to the Camarines Norte Provincial Hospital (CNPH) as part of their advocacy of helping improve the quality of life, social and spiritual values of the urban poor.
Motortrade LALAF Executive Directress, Shirlyn Ko, together with Motortrade Nationwide Corporation (MNC) Zone Manager, Ranulfo Empig and Regional Manager, Christopher Opena, spearheaded the ceremonial turnover of two (2) Hemodialysis machines and one (1) ventilator machine which were accepted by Camarines Norte Vice Governor Joseph Ascutia, Provincial Health OfficerDr. Walter Jalgalado and CNPHMS II Acting Chief of Hospital, Dr. Liborio Ferrer.
Vice Gov. Ascutia, in his brief message, expressed the provincial government and CNPH’s gratitude to Motortrade LALAF for the donation citing that these would augment the present number of hemodialysis and ventilator machines that the CNPH may use to be able to serve more dialysis and critical care patients from the province.
Motortrade LALAF is a non-stock, non-profit organization established in 2001 with programs focused on the following areas: 1) Emotional Development; 2) Discipleship; 3) Upliftment of Life; 4) Competitive Sports & Arts Development; 5) Alternative Learning System (ALS); 6) Technical Skills Training Program; 7) Experiential Learning. In 2021, Motortrade LALAF also donated medical supplies and equipment particularly to care for Covid patients in nine (9) hospitals in Bicol region including CNPH. Last June, Motortrade LALAF assisted by MNC, provided food packages to 70,000 families in need across the nation.
In handing over the hospital equipment, Motortrade LALAF Exec. Dir. Shirlyn Ko said โMotortrade LALAF shall continue to find opportunities to contribute in building better and healthier society.โ This activity espouses ALAGANG MOTORTRADE which holistically defines the kind of customer service and corporate social responsibility that Motortrade founder and Chairman Emeritus Vicente N. Ongtenco wishes to provide to Filipinos.
Motortrade employees who witnessed the ceremonial turnover were able to experience first hand the joy of giving back to the community and realized that for every motorcycle unit that they sell, creates an opportunity to help the community.
