Motortrade Partners with Metro Naga Development Council to Promote Road Safety Through Signage Initiative
NAGA CITY, BICOL – October 28, 2026 – Strengthening its commitment to road safety and community welfare, Motortrade has formalized a partnership with the Metro Naga Development Council (MNDC) through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at supporting the production of road safety signages in accident-prone areas across Metro Naga.
The partnership was formalized on October 28, 2026, with the presence of Hon. Maria Leonor G. Robredo, Chairperson of the Metro Naga Development Council, together with representatives from Motortrade Nationwide Corporation.
Through this initiative, Motortrade will extend sponsorship support for the production of road safety signages, subject to available resources and internal policies. The initiative aims to help promote greater road safety awareness, encourage responsible road use, and contribute to the protection of motorists, pedestrians, and local communities.
Under the agreement, MNDC will identify and consolidate proposed signage locations in coordination with its member local government units (LGUs), facilitate coordination with concerned public safety offices, and provide the necessary specifications and estimated requirements for the project.
Meanwhile, Motortrade will work closely with MNDC on the design, quantity, and specifications of the signages, designate authorized representatives to oversee project coordination, and participate in related activities that promote road safety advocacy.
This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to making roads safer and communities more informed about responsible road use. By bringing together the efforts of the public and private sectors, the initiative aims to support practical road safety measures that can make a meaningful difference in the daily lives of Filipinos.
